Our Peace Pole
The Dayton International Peace Museum recently sponsored a speaker on the subject of Peace Poles.  Mr. Ed Lollis, who, incidently, is a member of the Knoxville, TN Friendship Force Club, has done extensive research on the subject of Peace Poles.  History shows that these symbols go back many centuries, involving many countries.

Mr. Lollis and his wife heard about our Peace Pole and made a special trip to Dayton to see it.  They were very impressed with the design, material and location in downtown Dayton.

Did you know there are more than 900 peace and friendship monuments scattered throughout the world?  And did you know that our Dayton Club is the only Friendship Force Club worldwide that has a Peace Pole?  How about that!
Here's a map of our Peace Pole's location.
